To my friends

My heart has received messages on the subject of friendship so I decided to jot some ideas about this subject. Not only this is a topic that I am passionate about but more important I think that friendship is one of the biggest blessing I have received from God.
Football was fun, as long as I had the opportunity to share the trips, the victories and the losses with my friends.
School was ok but it was awesome when I had the pleasure to spend time with my friends.
The lessons I learned at work where lesson that I enjoyed because they came from my friends.
My friends have rescued me from tough times, inspire me to become more, convicted me when I have been wrong, breaking my heart when I have failed them, but more important they have shaped who I am and they have provide meaning and purpose to my life.
I have always said, blessing come many ways, but one of my favorite are friends.
What are those themes that resonate with me when I hear the word friendship.
1. Chemistry. Friends like to spend time with each other. Some people call it chemistry, it is that thing that makes you feel happy when you are spending time with that person you like. Friends like to be with each other.
I still remember the first time I talked to my friend from Morelia on my first week of school when I started the university. I also remember how much I enjoyed spending time with many of my friends from different organizations I have worked with.
2. Friends know each other. Friendship and courage go hand to hand. The way you separate aquatic from true friends is by how much you share your heart. Friends know your strengths but also your weaknesses. Friends know the areas where you struggle and they lift you up, they encourage and they will also tell you the truth when you need it.
My childhood friends the ones I met at ZD, they knew my struggles, they knew the things I lacked in my life, not only they accepted my how I was but they open their hearts and families to me. They gave me many times the inspiration to become a better version of me.
3. They are present. Whether is face to face, text messages, face time, friends connect. Sometimes it is impossible to continue to stay in touch with all of them but if you treasure somebody in your heart as friend it is because at some point in your life you shared the most valuable resource that we have, time.
When my mom die I couldn’t be there but my friends were. Families and friends showed up to be with my sister and family. They were spiritually present and for that I am forever thankful.
Many friends have been there, whether it was in my graduation, football games, etc, friends will show up to light your day, to encourage you and to support you when you need them the most.
I can’t say enough about my friends. My gratitude in this department goes beyond what I could ever think or wish for. God has given me valuable friends all along. I constantly pray for my friends and their families and I hope that just like my friends have been a blessing for me, I could also be a blessing for others.
Greetings to all my friends, the ones I like to be with, those who know me personally and the ones we have spent important and special moments in our life.
